I am so sick and tired of not being about to get things shipped to Canada from the American stores they come from. You would think that the global reach of 'Amazon' would mean that there would be no problem. You would be wrong.
I was all excited about a 'Mego Captain Cold' figure to battle my Mego Flash but they wouldn't ship it past the border. Then I wanted to order 4 superhero drink glasses for my collection and these too seem to be tools of the terrorists. I know parcel post guys work on both side of the border. Is it really such a chore for one guy to pass a package to another guy at the border? I am not smuggling in drugs or people here.

Try China. One year my daughter ordered cool stuff for her teens from China. It all came and was fine.

Browse through it just a 'lil bit and you'll want to scream. Probably not so hard just to pass the package from one shipper to the next at the border. That's the easy part. It's the added expense of paying and navigating the nightmares of reguations and codes that governments develop to ensure they get their cut at the border that often makes it an unattractive option to sellers/shippers.
