Gwen Cooper, Torchwood. (Eve Myles) - The way she dealt with everything and everyone in episode 2 of 'Miracle Day' was just amazing. I have so missed her spunk.
I also want to know who exactly the 'Redhead' is. She has too many of the answers that people needed at the exact time they needed it. This is going to turn out quickly to be some alien bullshit I just know it.

I've just watched the first episode on catch-up. she's really good in it. the sequence with the helicopter, where's she's striding along the landing with the baby in her arms was terrific.
I don't think I'd want her leading, but I'd certainly take her on the team. And it looks like we finally have a team by the end of episode two.

I enjoyed the way her baby totally took everthing in stride first as her mother shot her gun and while they were being chased by the helicopter. I hope Gwen's husband and child are brought back to the show soon. I like their dynamic as family.
I've just seen Episode I. I really liked it almost all. I'm not so sure (so far) if it was a good idea to "confiscate" Torchwood in behalf of the US. Gwen gained some weight since Children of Men. The baby scene is just fantastic! I'll be downloading Episode II sometime this week.
Gwen looks better than she did in 'Children of Men'. And she can still do a high kick to someone's head if they deserve it. I can't get enough of the way she takes command of a situation and goes into this mode where she is unstoppable, forcused, deadly. She's a real force of nature. Her family is threatened when they weren't bothering anyone. Well there has to be an accounting for that and woe be to anyone that gets in her way. No more chances. We're TORCHWOOD and you government idiots need us. Your clumsy attempts to erase Torchwood has got our attention and that has to be dealt with.
