Daily Reminder - Do I Have To Say Anything?

Can't this small piece of video speak for itself?

Do you see THAT FREAKIN' HORROR in the center of your screen? Well that is a 'Elbow Squid' and it lives at the bottom of the ocean. Look at that freak. Doesn't have a care in the world. There are few things that prey on him that deep on the ocean floor. He has lots of food to eat because of his superior hunting adaptations. Yet with all of that, THIS ONE decided that he wanted to be the center of attention and bring it's talents to a larger audience. It should be called the Kardashian Squid.

The bending of the tentacles DOES look like a woman with her hands on her hips.

"HELLO! Mr Squid! Drilling for dangerous fossil fuel here. Don't want for you do do something that would cause a spill. We got in alot of trouble because of a spill a while back and we don't need that kind of a clusterf*ck at this drill sight.

So, Mr Squid, I will ask you politely if you could please move along. There is a whole big ocean out there and you can have it all. However, THIS spot, is ours. Now scram! Hit the road! We are not filming an episode of 'Cephalopods Got Talent'. That's Simon Cowell's job and he is over at the next archipelago.

It would be unfortunate if we had to use our remote robot arm to inject you with enough compressed air to inflate the Hindenburg. You would rise to the surface faster than your body could adjust to the pressure changes and once you hit the air - BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE!"

(This little play was brought to you by the 'Cave of Cool Players')

Looks like a cross between Aliens and the critters from last year's Monsters!

"War Of The Worlds" was my first thought.

That thing creeps me right the fuck on out. The same can be said of most things that live on/near the ocean floor, but that is concentrated scary.

Welcome to my life GT. These things still have the ability to terrify me after all these years.
