Breaking News of the Day: 24-year-old Amanda Knox — nicknamed “Foxy Knoxy” by the tabloid media — was acquitted today of the murder of Meredith Kercher, a British exchange student whom she met while studying abroad in Perugia, Italy, and is free to go after spending nearly four years behind bars.

I hadn't heard this. Hmmmm. They say the evidence was tainted, though.
I don't believe she did it.
Had this exact evidence been brought into a US trial, there never would have been a guilty verdict in the first place. In fact, had the evidence been this bad in a US case, there's a good chance the DA wouldn't even bring the case to trial in the first place. I don't know that she did it or not, but I do know that there's reasonable doubt all over the place here. ("Reasonable doubt" isn't a legal concept in Italy, though.)
