Dr. Doom completely trounces the FF and sends them back in time to retrieve mystic pirate treasure. They dress up like buccaneers and wreck some ships. Doom turns out to be a robot while the real one gets away on his "Nuclear Powered Flying Harness". A goofy issue, but it establishes the group's dysfunctional family dynamic and Doom's contempt for the team.
I remember that goofy issue. It was always being reprinted in the various treasuries.
Batman meets Harold and Maude!
I love the old school movie reference.
