This Is News??

A Toronto man survived after losing his way in the Ontario woods by starting a fire and drinking swamp water, police said after the man was rescued.

Ontario Provincial Police said Johnathan Kayle Donner was found after being lost for about 15 hours in the McCrae Lake Conservation Area, near Georgian Bay, on Monday.

Donner was reported missing the previous day, after he did not return from a walk while camping with friends over the long weekend.

He was found by search and rescue dogs at about 4:30 p.m. on Monday, after surviving the night by starting a small fire and finding water to drink.

An OPP helicopter and marine unit also helped in the overnight search.

Why isn't this guy hosting a cable survival show? Because he wasn't desperate enough to drink his own urine on his harrowing HALF DAY ordeal, that's why.

Hang on... Donner?

Did he happen to go into the woods with a larger party? Did anybody find them? Was Mister Donner hungry when they found him or was he... you know... kind of full?

Just sayin'.

If you aren't prepared to eat your own arm then you should never go into the woods.

MD - they did find him with a bag of squirrels skulls but he said he's been carrying those around for weeks and had the bones boiled off them weeks ago.

More poor planning. You need to have fresh squirrel in your jumper at all times in the forest.

Pretty easy to light a fire when he is a smoker and carries three lighters at all time.
