Guilty Pleasure Movie Of The Week

Yeh it's goofy and it's unlike Alan Moore's story in many key respects but I can watch this one anytime it's on. I especially enjoy the portrayal of Nemo as an Indian Prince/Pirate who 'walks a different path'.

Have you read all the League comics?

Yeh. He kinda loses me as he enters the twentieth century but it's something I can always go back too and find new things each time to enjoy.

If you haven't already, you might want to take a look at the various online annotations. It's impossible for any one person (except Moore) to be erudite enough to catch all the references in his "world of all fiction being true at the same time."

You're the only person I know of who is into the comic, who endorses the movie. I haven't seen it so I have no comment.

My wife loves the movie. We watch it often.

The first comic has some shocking parts involving Hyde and the Invisible Man and I like the way the sequel brings in the War of the Worlds.

Hey Cal
I love this movie too. Yeah Alan Moore hates it , but like you I will watch it anytime it's on. Actually, I think I'll watch it tonight!
Cheers.
