Kal said...: I was really turned off when they made Daredevil bad then the Black Panther showed up in the Urban Jungle of Hell's Kitchen. But his latest comic is great. Like Hawkeye you have writers and artists who know how to tell a good story. Daredevil is at his best when pages like this show up.; August 16, 2013 at 7:55 AM
Erik Johnson Illustrator said...: Yeah, I'm digging the run with Mark Waid and Paulo Rivera. Rivera does some amazing crisp, clean and creative artwork and Waid's writing is dramatic and suspenseful without being overly dark or playing for shock value and its got a good sense of fun to it.

While I enjoy the art and pacing of the new "Hawkeye" series (there is a very distinct Jim Steranko influence), I'm not really into that kind of slow burn spy story stuff.; August 16, 2013 at 8:20 AM
