gorgeous illustrations.
I have never seen a copy of that book without great illustrations.
Quality work.
I've got a 1941 Pocket Books edition of The Rubaiyat which features some lovely pen and ink drawings by Gordon Ross. It seems Khayam's work inspired generations of great artists.
Like I said I have a copy too and it's got gorgeous panels. I think the illustrations go with the words.
