MD - did you ever watch the painting show from years ago with the old German guy. He used to use CRIMSON not red...and lots and lots of black.

The old German Guy was William Alexander and the show was "The Magic World of Oil Painting.

Alexander was the guy who taught Bob Ross how to paint.

I remember telling my friends about his show and how he would scream in his think german accent - "MORE BLACK! MORE BLACK! THE DEVIL! MORE BLACK! Then a little bit of crimson."
