Members of Tennessee tea parties presented state legislators with five priorities for action Wednesday, including “rejecting” the federal health reform act, establishing an elected “chief litigator” for the state and “educating students the truth about America.”
I think we have found the perfect location to build our Thunderdome. It doesn't even surprise me anymore when I read about this kind of ignorant behavior from the 'cracker class' in America. Maybe four more years of watching a black man living in the White House will cause all their heads to collectively explode and save us from a future where these numnuts are allowed to freely breed with their fellow toothless relatives. Fuck you Tennessee, you are an embarrassment to human culture.

Hey, I am from TN. I don't see anything wrong with what they are saying. Look up TennCare, it was a statewide socialized health insurance initiative that almost bankrupted the state. Most Tennesseans are very agains socialized medicine due to that experience. The textbooks are a bit of an over reaction but I am sure some demonize the founding fathers pretty badly.
As a Tennessee resident I'm used to the state government doing incredible stupid things to waste time and pretend to be doing something clever. It IS an embarrassment but luckily the morons in Mississippi and Alabama will eventually do something even dumber to remind people that we aren't the lowest form of life in the USA.
Thank you for going easy on me. I was over the top but it just struck me as the worst kind of idiot behavior.
Tennesse does not hold the corner on idiocy. My home state of Arizona is governed by the wicked witch of the west, Jan Brewer.
