I highly recommend Todd Nauck's "Wildguard" miniseries by Image Comics from '05, which had a cornucopia of likable characters and loose, fun sort of story.

Also, the SciFi Channel's "Who Wants to be a Superhero" As hokey as it was, it was about finding people with heroic values and character, which always makes you feel good by the end. If nothing else, Stan Lee as the host doing his Donald Trump shtick is hilarious.; January 24, 2012 at 8:27 AM
