Kelly wrote a great article about Roger Ebert today, someone I have an enormous amount of respect for. His integrity and the way he was both a student and teacher of film is a gift to any movie fan. He always served as 'the people's critic' and was never afraid to like a film just because it was popular.
His very public fight against mouth cancer is inspirational. He can no longer speak but his voice will never be silenced as long as he has strength in his fingers to write his reviews.

I heard him interviewed on CBC radio about a week ago or so. He uses one of those computer voices like Stephen Hawking.
I always liked watching Siskel and Ebert years ago. They were great together.
Great critics. Considering the ordeal he went through and lives with, he's a trooper. A lot of respect for that.
