I Am Just Happy He Is Finally Gone For His Own Good
Because there was nothing sadder than watching Dick Clark get weaker and weaker with every Rockin' New Year's Eve special of the past decade. Last year I was so hoping that Ryan Seacrest would have just put him out of his misery with a pillow - but that would have required Seacrest to demonstrate some upper body strength (I kid because I hurt).

It was sad watching him during the last few years, but he had a great life. Hell, 82 years is a good amount of time to be alive. More than I'll get to be sure. We used to watch American Bandstand when we were kids back in the 50s-60s. He was a valuable part of the rock scene. He did good stuff. Nice requiem.
