I Have No Idea What They Are Talking About But I HAVE To See This Moive

I have a thing for weird Japanese movies like Battle Royale or Big Man Japan or their many variations of the theme of robot/cyborg future cop films. This one about kid cops looks fresh and funny with some kid actors who look game to go full retard on the concept.

While America is trying to keep guns out of the hands of kids, Japan is letting them go crazy with them! Here's the trailer for a great looking new action comedy from Japan called Kid's Police. The movie is based on a TV series and it looks very entertaining and hysterically fun.

The story "revolves around the central premise of recreating 1970s style, hard boiled Japanese cop thrillers with the goofy twist of having little kids play all the key roles done up in period costume. The big hair, the well tailored suits, the big ass shotguns ... these kids handle them all."

The movie looks extremely well made, and it looks like it will be loaded with some great action. On top of that the kids look great in their roles, and it's awesome watching them being so damn serious. You'll see in the trailer that they're very charismatic.

Wow. A little kid cocking a shotgun is certainly an image you won't see in America anytime soon.

I watch handful of Japanese action shows too (mostly the Super Sentai and Kamen Rider programs) but I've picked up a few words and phrases here and there.

For example, the Kid Police Chief's frequently exclamation of "Nani?!" means "WHAT?!"

I loved that movie and it didn't make me a nut with a custard gun.
