I have carried this two page cartoon strip with me most of my life. I just found it again in an old scrapbook box. Sure it's weathered but the message is timeless. It actually gives me hope and that is a rare thing these days. Also it reminds me to periodically go through my blog because I am a freakin' genius. Really, right from the beginning it was one winning post after another.

Another little thing you might like to know about this strip is that the lakefront scene depicted in the background is of Chicago and lake Michign, but more specifically its the lakeshore off Wlison avenue near Cricket Hill. I use to live right thre an hung out there all the time. He artist depicted it quite well including down to the pier nd light thingy. I use to walk that area and chat about stuff with my friends as well or just walk around there to clear my head. It's a great little piece of Chicago and its fun to see it show up in comic form.
Utterly charming. Thanks for sharing big fella.
So in this case knowing is more than a feeling.
Speaking of comics, maybe all those jobless wasps from yesterday can get a job with COBRA! They may be the only employers who aren't hiring based on experience.
