If you want to reboot the Green Lantern movie franchise this is the way to do it. Introduce John Stewart and have THIS Green Lantern as a member of your Justice League. As close to the Bruce Timm cartoon as DC can get with their live action film, the better it will be for everyone involved.

This is brilliant!! I would wait in line to see this one. Though can Idris sound like he is from Detroit? I bet he can.
He deserves his own superhero movie.
John Stewart in the cartoon was my first experience with Green Lantern anyway. I say go for it!
I can't see why we can't have John and Hal too... Maybe there could be a 2nd GL movie that introduces John Stewart as Hal's back up... Maybe he gets a full time ring to make sure he's prepared or whatever... And then John could be the Justice League GL, and Hal could be the main GL in the GL movie franchise....
