Anzio Beach Playset From Marx

We had boxes of toy soldiers as a kid. In my circle it was cool to have the sets a German company sold of a dozen men from all the different armies you could think of. Each group tried to replicate the look of the soldiers as best they could. You got a variety of soldiers using a variety of weapons and they were cheap enough that Dad didn't mind buying you a box when you were at the store. The Australians were popular because of their hats and the fact that they fought in socks and shorts. But we never had anything as complex as these Marx playsets which are amazing. This is another one great one.
