Ohhhhhh, right in the feels. Still, it's a nice gesture on the vet's part.

The same thing happened to me with Little Cat, five years ago...they sent a card and I lost it...and then I was putting off going up there to pick up his ashes and when I finally did I lost it again. So damn hard.

I was thinking about you and the Admiral on and off over the past few days, Cal. I think it was really brave how you handled all of it. I'm sure you had a final moment with him that you probably don't even want to talk about (I still haven't, about my cat).

Be strong...it will get easier. It will get easier in a way that does nothing to diminish the loss or the mutual love.

Thanks for that my friend. I don't ever want to forget him and his still is all around this place. I came home today expecting him to be sleeping on my bed. But he wasn't there. It's things like that that get to me the most.

Right in the heart Cal. But like that thing I sent you, he will whisper in your heart, so you will remember his spirit is still with you.
