Last night’s Critics Choice Awards was probably one of the few awards shows that are really for the fans. This was especially true for DC fans, as Wonder Woman won Best Action Movie, besting Thor: Ragnarok. Why can't the Oscars have an award for Best Action Movie?? That is a no-brainer. And while you are at it, Best Comedy too. If that is too many awards then spread them over a couple of nights. You read that right. TWO nights. It would be a game changer.
Is it me or does that awards envelope look pretty ratty for a major production like this program?

I agree. Action movies and comedies always get the screwgie at the Oscars.
Because those are the films that people actually see.
