In the back of the Lego Newsletter that they sent to us when we were under the age of 10 included a way to join the LEGO Junior Designers Club which in the French translation refers to us as young ARCHITECTS which was a much classier way to describe my skills as a LEGO BUILDER.
Remember we didn's have all the fancy pieces you punks enjoy today. SQUARE AND RECTAGLE pieces and that was it. We were LUCKY if we had a window a door and maybe a tree for the front yard of any house that we build.
You also had to include a picture and in those days we had no cell phone cameras. It was a bad instamatic camera from Kodak with a square bulb for light that we used and you only got one chance to photograph your LEGO creation so that you have proff to convinced LEGO that you were not some poser who was older than 10.
Of course they spelled my name wrong, the bastards.
