But he's been punished for this lapse--

Has he not suffered quite enough?
How can these people get so riled?

I think he got it right. I haven't written anything about Polanski because I knew it would all just be bile and hatred for this loser. Having his 'community' stand with him in support is nauseating in the worst way. Way to go celebs - using your fame and wealth to remind us how much better you are than all the rest of us. I just say the majority of the hollywood elite really disgust me. They have no concept of reality. They're so used to everyone telling them how wonderful they are, they believe it.

Cal: Absolutely. God, the royalty of Hollywood are so much better than us. That's very clear. Normal definitions of sick, deviant behavior; for instance the drugging and anal raping of a 13 year old, is OK for them. Why? Because the child being raped was a stupid peasant (like us), that's why. Hasn't Polanski suffered enough? He can't fly around the world in his jet whenever he wants.
