Short Cuts

George Tuska, who drew comics for nearly 6 decades recently died at age 93. I have a feeling that we are in for alot of these kind of deaths as many of the old greats reach an advanced age. Once they go we will never see the likes of them again. Art is so individual and comic art especially is so very close to me.

After a double bill of 'Casino Royale' and 'Quantum of Solice' I have determined that Daniel Craig is my new 'official' favorite Bond. It was a tough thing to do because Sean was my model for slick and cool for so long. However, in these times, I need my Bond to be a thug, the blunt edge of the knife, damaged and overflowing with righteous anger but the only one with the determination and courage to save us all. (Yes, he is real to me. Don't ruin the fantasy you haters)

I think for once we will see the world reject someone who tried to become famous for doing something stupid. The 'Balloon Boy' stunt was to stupid to believe and the world does not reward you for stupidity especially if we figure out the scam on the same day you presented it to us. Those kids need to be taken away from their parents before we see security cam footage of three tiny masked robbers sticking up the nearby KFC.

Speaking of KFC. We just got their bread balls here in Canada and I am addicted to them already. More proof that 'the Colonel puts a special chemical in his food that makes you crave it fortnightly." Its true. About every twenty days or so I will do anything for a bucket of original recipe....and now bread balls.

I tried getting into the new Bond movies but they left me cold. Pierce Brosnan is my favorite Bond, I know, I know, it's heresy but there you go.

No No...everyone is entitled to his opinion. I do like me some Pierce too but Daniel is my boy for the forseeable future.
