Cal: The Right Stuff used a direct quote from the NASA transmission! Mr. Glenn, without question, had the right stuff. Did you know he was the only astronaut whose monitored heart rate remained the exact same all through lift off?

Glenn even used the NASA transmission of his first space flight - "God Speed, John Glenn." in his political ads when he ran for office.

But back to the cat. He is my hero. What a pioneer!
