It's Just How We Roll In The Tundra

Seeing how this is the CANADIAN Cave of Cool I need to really be talking up all the things that make Canada great so that all of you get a sense of how terrific this place is.

So in that spirit I give you the darlings of this nation - Terrance and Phillip.

When the creators of 'South Park' die we will erect a massive flappy headed statue to their genius by placing a bronze of these two magnificent bastards in our nation's capital.

'South Park' so lovingly GETS who we are. Their mocking is more of a love letter to us. We have the best senses of humor in the world so we can take the ribbing. But we are smart too. We want to see EFFORT in the put downs and not just any ordinary ones will do.

That whole 'ABOOT' thing is hilarious to us. We don't pronounce it that way at all. We invented it so that people could stop saying that we add 'EH' to the end of each of our spoken sentences.

We are a people who know who we are and how much you want to be us. Slightly different from our beloved Americans in look and speech, who really know how to deal with an incompetent politician.

(Trivia - the city where I live has what they call a 'Ghosts Project' where statues of famous residents or moments in time are captured in realistic works and distributed throughout the city. I will be doing a post about this later in the week when I leave the cave to take some pictures around town).
