Seven people died in Cambodia after a man dropped the equivalent of 75 cents into a well.
The man tried to get the money back, but fell into a coma at the bottom of the well because of a lack of oxygen.
After villagers realized the man was missing they climbed into the well to try and help, but perished themselves.
"When relatives and villagers saw the man collapsed at the well's bottom, they subsequently got into the well to help him and they all also fainted and died in the well," Capt. Muy Norn told Koh Santepheap Daily.
Among the seven who perished were two women.
The deaths took place on Saturday night.

By person three I figure that someone would have noticed that no one is coming back up with their 75 cents
...wow. All those people died for 75 cents? Terrible. Dude, if you lose 75 cents, just post about it on the web and SOMEONE will send you 75 cents out of pity! Just crowdsource that shiznit!
As morbid as it may sound, this is also, to me, a scenario ripe for usage in roleplaying. "There's a well in the village that kills people? Let's go explore THAT!"
