I Own None Of These Statues

But while ordering a couple of Funko POPS today I did some research on statues and found some that I would love to have in my collection. Never has been practical for me to have these because they deserve to be displayed outside the box and I like my figures to display with their packaging. Cost was also a factor. When I could get 3 regular figures for the price of one of these it seemed to make more sense. Those were the days when quantity sometimes overrode quality. Few of these statues display as well in the box as they do alone in a nice glass case. Even my beloved Kotobukiya look best when they are freed from their cardboard prison.

I'll be freeing my Thor and Lady Loki from their cardboard prisons right away since I don't give a shit about collector value. My tiny collection is meant for pure enjoyment in the here and now!

Which is the way it should be with these statues. I just like the packaging on my other figures that come with all kinds of accessories that just get lost.

I have the Ghost Rider one! I also display with abandon and could care less about whether the box is "mint" (except to the extent a "non-mint" box gets me a lower price on ebay) as long as the statue itself is undamaged.
