Once again two asshats have gotten themselves mauled by a zoo animal. This time it was a tiger doing what the gods should have done and taught one of them a valuable life lesson. A Siberian Tiger at the Calgary Zoo was confronted by these two geniuses and did what tigers are apt to do - it defended itself from an unknown threat. To quote Chris Rock - "That tiger didn't go crazy, that tiger went TIGER!" The zookeeper had it right when he said that the tiger was merely defending his home. They were the trespassers and police assume alcohol was involved. I hope that nothing is done to this tiger for only doing what came naturally and that these two idiots are prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The mauled arm of one of them is just an extra going away present from the LAST tiger they will ever mess with. Good on ya Vitali the Tiger, good on ya mate.

Yeah exactly! People have wiped out how much of the tiger's natural habitat and now they want to try and invade his tiny space in a zoo? You really can't blame the tiger for being pissed!
This incident proves that some idiots should not be around wild animals.
This also proves that we may be a dominant species, but we are NOT the brightest species. And possibly not the most deserving.
From what I've read the tiger is OK and will remain where he is. What a couple of morons, though. I hope those guys get charged.
I guess the tiger was supposed to suggest AA. God, I can hear their drunken bitching now. I am sure some lawyer somewhere is checking to see if the zoo has the required "If you are both drunk and an asshole, trespassing into the tiger's cage may be hazardous" signs in preparation for a lawsuit. -- Mykal
I think you stand a better chance coming out unscathed from this kind of situation if you rub cow blood all over yourself than you do being drunk.
Sigh...We need more chlorine in the gene pool! I've done some stupid stuff in my life (haven't we all?), however even I realize alcohol and visiting tigers in the zoo is not such a hot idea. Hell visiting tigers outside of normal operation hours and sober is still not that great an idea. The fence isn't for our protection people. There should be some law. Do one really stupid f'ing thing and that's it. The government invokes its euthanasia program. Lol.
