For me it begins and ends with the TULIP. Not just because they are gorgeous flowers but there is that whole story about how they were once more valuable than gold and everyone invested in them and lost all their money like when the stock market collapsed in the late 1920s. Crazy human fads fascinate me. Plus I love Holland and if you love Holland you have to love the Tulip.
