Things have even got worse in the age of the Internet. Every big institution has to post some faux news with the complete backing of special effects or doctored photos that make the story SEEM true. I have enough trouble wading through the crap of what is true and what is not on a daily basis as it is so I don't need to read deliberation phony rumors about things I care about.

BTW, did you hear that New Line has held up production of Peter Jackson's THE HOBBIT again? Seems that New Zealand Actor's Equity has a problem with the Goblins all being portrayed as the bad guys so they're adding some "good" goblin characters to be positive role models for other goblins.

Sorry you feel that way - I love today. It feels like internets xmas. I've got a post at my place about it and Kotaku has a great video game-based roundup. My favs were Duke Nukem Forever flinging poo (real in-game fake from the devs) and the "new" Harry Potter series.
So much more to love the internets, though time consuming. I should take next year off.
The hangover comes tomorrow-on, with my daughter reiterating half the stuff I saw online because some kid saw something and told her. Like that new Harry Potter series that's coming out...
