Even though I am interested in most everything that happens in San Diego, I really am not a fan of crowds. I get really anxious and homicidal when I feel oppressed by too much humanity around me.

Yeah, I feel that way too after an hour or two at West Edmonton Mall on a Saturday.
I've got a thing for crowds too, but given my art career has been moving very slowly here in Midwest USA, I thought of making a trip out there when I was invited by some college friends. But then their van broke down, tickets sold out and I landed a brief job as a substitute teacher for that week anyway, and instead spent my spare time researching conventions closer to home.
Maybe next time.
