Raw Freshly Ripped Out Heart For Dinner Again?
"Great Montezuma, you realize of course that he has many other body parts we can consume. By eating the heart we have kinda crossed an ethical line already so chowing down on a a nice butt roast is basically a continuation of our normal operating procedures. I also have found the last ten or so prisoners to have really chewy and gummy hearts."

Aztecs actually practiced a ritual kind of anthropofagy. The heart was reserved for great warriors, but the rest of the body was consumed by the rest of the troops.
The common people wasn´t allowed in the feast.
It´s written that the aztecs once executed by this ritual 10,000 prisoners in one day (all the sacrifice temples were busy that morning doing their thing).
Scary, isn´t it?
Something else, Montezuma was the Tlatoani (or ruler) of the aztecs and the human sacrifices were only performed by priests, so that´s not Moctezuma rising the still beating heart.
Personally, I don't miss the Aztecs.
The wars also helped the civilization to grow by keeping valuable resources from being consumed too quickly and the wars gave the people purpose. Bread and Circus'. Better than Rome was at it's height.
Thanks for the information. Let's juwst assume the guy holding the heart is talking to Monty.
