Cave Of Cool Major Badass Hall Of Fame

Robert Shaw as Quint from 'Jaws'. One of the greatest monologues of all time. This is one you really need to commit to memory if you love your movies.

I love that scene. Sends chills up my spin e the way Shaw tells the story. This was Spielberg in an unusually restrained mode. No VFX, no kids, no aliens, just three men talking... but the scene is riveting.

Hey Cal, you need to commit the character's name to memory too: it's Quint, not Flint...

One of those top ten scenes. So candid and real. Robert Shaw is so good in it. So are Dreyfuss and Scheider. Always liked Shaw. What a great actor.

Thanks for the catch cerebus. Would you believe me if I was talking about FLINT, his younger brother who lives in the bowers of the ship and makes fishing nets with his two hook hands. No I guess not.
