Need Help Again

I can download torrents but I don't know how to covert them and then burn them to DVD-R discs so that I can watch them in the car or train during long trips on one of those car DVD players. I might need to be talked through this. I can buy programs but would rather download them if I can. I have faith that one of you will save me.

AVI2DVD will convert your AVI into an ISO disc image. (You don't have to chose an AudioStream on its Step 1 Menu b/c your AVI has its own audio stream.)

Then take your .ISO disc image and burn that to a disc with ImgBurn.

If you're really lazy, make sure you have K-Lite Mega Codec Pack installed. Then go grab Nero Multimedia Suite or Roxio Media Creator off bittorrent and those have easy to use wizards/menus that take you thru the AVI-to-DVD-burning process step by step.

Also, if you've got your codecs installed and are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, the free Microsoft Windows Live Essentials has the Movie Maker program for editing videos and burning them to DVD.

If you need more help let me know skype would work. Happy to share what I use it was pay but very fast, very good copies. I would say well worth the coin, 2-3 tries before I got this and took to long or quality was off. Let me know you have my e-mail.

My brain hurts from trying this many ways all day. I am going to go into the store and grab some punk worker and slap him around until he gives me what I need to do what I want to do. Then he gets a fresh smack in the head just for working retail.

Just a heads up,here in the states, you can't sell the software need to do what you want. You have to buy it off-shore. So not sure a tech store geek will help.
