Calvin's Canadian Cave Of Cool Manifesto
I forever stand vigilant to protect this planet from the myriad of forces that are always against us. Be it the octopus, zombies, aliens or the robots my team of human agents, and our feline allies, circle the globe in a never ending struggle for human freedom.
I learn all I can on every subject that interests me. I especially enjoy ancient history because in the past there are valuable lessons to be found. Also, if I ever get my time machine to work properly, it would be good to know a bit about possible destinations and what to expect when I get there.
I greatly appreciate beautiful design. Be it manufactured or found naturally I am fascinated by the process of invention. I am attracted to the unique, the strange, the haunted. I like to share what I find on this blog.
And not let us forget the 'Cephalopod Menace' who, if allowed to, would wrap their tentacles around all that is good and pure in this life and crush it until it remained no more. They are creatures of pure spite. Hate is all they know. Death is all they do. They are our most ruthless and determined enemy.
So we fight. Selena has the celebrity contacts, the cat is ruthless and without pity, Roosevelt's ghost has the experience and I do the wetwork.
Fighting for the future of the planet doesn't have to be a chore, however. We can take the time to appreciate all that is cool in this world even as we cut the octopus into bite sized chunks.
This is the reason there has always been and must forever be, a Cave of Cool. Be sure to wipe your feet before you enter.

Okay... so... 21 JUMP STREET wasn't the monster movie. I'm guessing it's the UNDERWORLD one. So I picked wrong.
Though JUMP STREET does look like it'll be funny.
Interesting that they pulled Kate back in. In the last film, Beckinsale did not film new footage, a scene from Underworld was used to bookend the film. Beckinsale also provided a monologue for the beginning of the film. They must have tempted her with a pretty penny, since I thought she refused to take part in anymore films.
Secondly, 21 Jump Street looks horrible.
Also, the premise kind of is reminiscent of Ultra Violet.
Don't you be dissing ULTRAVIOLET now. That was a batshit classic and I love when the movie goes over the top like this.
You also can't make anything related to 21 Jumpstreet without Johnny Depp or Greeco.
I'm not dissing Ultra Violet. I like that movie. I'm just saying it seems like a similar premise.
Also, 21 Jump Street, is it based on the TV series?
Also....So, the plot of this movie is, uh, Never Been Kissed with guns?
Apparently it is, says the internet. Johnny Depp filmed a cameo supposedly.

The fact that you know of the movie 'Never Been Kissed' makes me love you I think.
Good on Johnny for being a part of the joke like he did with that small part for the newest Ricky Gervais show.
Dude, I have Never Been Kissed on VHS. It was one of the first movies I bought by myself. I'm a big Drew fan. Ever After is one of my favorite movies not involving sharks eating people.
I have a much better Drew story. Whenever I am stressed I calm myself and whisper 'Just Breath'.

It was a stinker from the first minute.Sometimes Cal you just go all Batshit with your reviews. I am always happy to have them and you are often right on my taste but other times. I wonder if we saw the same movie. Put down the candy, and review some more stuff.
