That opening bit is growing to one of my pet peeves in movies. Do they want us to read the text or listen to someone say it? Just pick one and go with it! See "Alone in the Dark" for an example of just how stupid this can get, or better yet, don't watch "Alone in the Dark" and watch anything else instead.

Also, the music used in the trailer is the same music they used in the trailer for "Lost in Space". Weird. I've heard the themes from "Stargate" and "Edward Scissorhands" recycled in other trailers before along side stock sounds like "Ominous Latin Chanting" (or "Requiem for a Tower" in some circles) and "In The Hall of the Mountain King". I'm afraid I don't know what this one is called.

Also, its bad enough that they had Rob Schiedher poke fun at Stallone's inability to say "The Law", but the fact that they put it in the trailers tells me that no one had any faith in this project.

It does seem that Armande Asnate at least gets the joke which is vital for this kind of Hollywood crap. This one feels like a half hour to me each and everytime I watch it.
