Actual Conversation With My 72 Year Old Mother
My mother is going to Australia this weekend for six weeks - first to Sydney for a vacation with her grandchildren and then to several other cities like Canberra and Brisbane. It's the fourth time she has made the trip to the other side of the world to visit my sister and her family. I did alot of research for her so she could make the most out of her trip but my sister picked the hotel they will be staying at in Sydney.
Mom - "I saw that the Muslims were rioting in Sydney. I hope they won't make trouble near our hotel."
Me - "Actually the crowd passed right by it."
Mom - "Your sister is such a retard."

Your Mom actually said that? What was the basis for her calling your sister a retard? The choice of Hotel?
Maybe you had to be there to get the joke. My sister made such a big deal about the hotel and it was a pain in the ass to get confirmation from them about the reservations and other issues. My sister never makes anything easy.
Oh one of the joys of being older. My two black children just love it when their grandma-in-law calls them you colored kids. She loves them and is not racist with that at all just what she does.
I hope your Mom has a good time in Australia! So I guess you and Admiral are batchin' it for awhile, eh? Don't go wild!
