If I Had A Girlfriend....

You all know I am a huge fan of cosplay and recently I was asked by a friend what costume would be the best for her this Halloween. She is deadly cute so my mind instantly went to the most sexy side of the costume aisle.

After I had gone through a huge list of sexy superheroes and sexy pirates I suddenly remembered the best costume I had ever seen a girl wear at a Halloween Party - SNOW WHITE and the most sexy version of her you could imagine. I made sure I went up to her to stare so that the image could forever be burned into my memory.

Of all the Disney Princesses, Snow White was always the one that I adored the most. She has this way of skirting the line between Disney Princess and Disney Tramp. I think it's the combination of the dark hair and red apple and the peasant blouse that can well service the ample bussomed woman.

If I had a girlfriend I would beg her to wear the costume on my birthday, anniversary and every other costume party for the rest of my life - even if it was just the two of us. And for all of you who think I like to only watch and not participate - don't forget I have the legs of a god and can play husky gladiator like no-one short of Russell Crowe.

You had me at "If I had a Girlfriend". I know that fantasy all too well.

It is interesting looking at these photos and seeing the Black/Red color combination, which looks like something that came out of Hot Topic 70 years too early. The Blues in the corset vary from costume to costume and can be easily darkened, and red against dark blue still has a "spooky" vibe to it, and yet the yellow is so bright and lively and takes up half of the costume. Its a very unique and appealing study of contrasts.

It be an interesting challenge to see what costume/characters would best suit your significant other. Myself, I can't help but imagine the future Mrs. Johnson without incorporating elements of my celebrity crush, Audrey Hepburn, with midnight hair and taste for form fitting turtleneck sweaters.

I think that is what is so appealing, the combination of elements. The hair, the red lips, the corset. I may even add some pirate boots to her look but that is just because I am a fan of knee high boots and sweaters - bless those cold Canadian winters.

But with your awesome beard, wouldn't it be better to dress as a sexy hunk version of one of the Seven Dwarves? That way you and she could have a true team cosplay thing going on.

I could play all those dwarfs at once. And who said they can't dress like gladiators while wearing those goofy hats.
