Something Else Beyond My Control That Annoys Me
Arctic ice shrinks to all-time low; half 1980 size This image made available by NASA shows the amount of summer sea ice in the Arctic on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at center in white, and the 1979 to 2000 average extent for the day shown, with the yellow line. Scientists say sea ice in the Arctic shrank to an all-time low of 1.32 million square miles on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, smashing old records for the critical climate indicator. That’s 18 percent smaller than the previous record set in 2007. Records go back to 1979 based on satellite tracking.

Artic Ice was twice as big in 1980? No wonder legs warmers were all the rage at the time. Here I thought it was because it was the last decade of the Cold War.
Winter's coming..the ice will be back. :)
Some days all you can do is shake your fist in impotent rage.
The arctic has been ice free in the past (In the days before factories and SUV's). The ice will come back. Just enjoy the warmth while it is here.
I want it as cold and snowy that I have to tie spoons to my feet to go to the store for birdseed like Tweet Bird did. And I want to watch Huskey's carry vital medicine to orphans in another village.
