Then you are my people.

Wow! I never had Seven Samurai but I had lots and lots of those Dynamicron VHS tapes. (They're probably still in storage somewhere; down in my basement, probably.) It's great to see those old graphics again.

We had tons of them. We still do, but we just don't have a VCR to play them on.

Seven Samurai on VHS. It's around here somewhere. And my VCR still works. We watched BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY's on it just two weeks ago.

Gawd, the money I pissed away on VHS tapes over the years! Another reason to love PVRing!

Ditto Debra. I've still got about 100 movies and 20 blanks that I record shows on. (ancient technology) Still have three VCR under the bed. Need them to play my old SCTV tapes I recorded in the '80s. By the way, thrift stores are a good place to get VCRs.

I have boxes of tapes in both Beta and VHS. I taped alot of good stuff in the 80s when pay TV was a gift. Commercial free movies and all the big hits. I need to dig that out. I know a guy who can get my vcr working again.

Breakfast At Tiffany's is such a good movie. Of course if she hadn't gone back for the kitty I would have been disappointed.

I can't wait for the day when we can get first run movies at home on the weekend of release or a weekend after. The bootleg/pirate business would dry up in a week. But what do I know? I just consume entertainment.

I love that SCTV stuff. The oldest stuff is really comedy on the cheap but so funny. I love 3CP1 and of course the Shmengie Brothers. Did you see the documentary The Last Polka with the Shmengies? Also very funny.

I tossed most of my blank tapes about six or seven years ago, though I think I may have kept a couple of sleeves like this out of nostalgia. I still have a box of VHS tapes in the basement that I've acquired from garage sales and the like of classic movies who have hiked up DVD prices.
