Monsters: Dark Continent

The original 'Monsters' is a fantastic low budget monster movie that was truly group breaking. What the director (Gareth Edwards) and his team were able to create on a micro-budget is beyond impressive. It's one of those films that it's better to say less about and let you discover it on your own. Really memorable for so many reasons.

I understand the director is working on a Godzilla reboot. Who knew someone in Hollywood had any vision? While we wait for that film to come out we get a stand aside chapter set in the same world. I like these kind of films where you follow a platoon of guys until they die or almost all die. Because you know they are all gonna die. Or almost die. That is just what I call my 'bread and butter' film.

More like "Dark Content". I don't see anything on this post.

I liked the movie and know some of the "background" of it as well....
The brief glimpses of the "Monsters" at the end were a bit of a "let down" though... Good post ..as always... Stacey
