We Lost Another Great Today - Elmore Leonard

Acclaimed American crime novelist Elmore Leonard, whose witty, gritty and undeniably cool stories were turned into Hollywood hits such as Out of Sight, Jackie Brown, Get Shorty and TV's Justified, has died at the age of 87.

The 2010 FX series Justified is based around the popular Leonard character U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens from the novels Pronto and Riding the Rap and the short story "Fire in the Hole."

"If it sounds like writing, I rewrite it." Thanks for the wisdom Mr Leonard.

Justified is one of my absolute favorites. A good long life though. RIP.

His books were so good to begin with that they made fantastic movies like 'Get Shorty'.
