I have seen that abyss everytime I look into the cold dead eyes of an octopus. Like black polished metal, they reflect your own eyes back at you.
Once Family Circus starts quoting Nietzsche you know the wheels of civilization have come off the bus.

Ziggy was never funny. Not in all the years I have read that crappy cartoon did I smile once - NOT once. And you can't ignore it. Its there on the comic page. It only takes a second to read and day after day after mind numbing day I wait and hope Ziggy will give me a moments joy but it will NEVER happen. Fuck Ziggy.
