The sound the wings made when they flapped perfectly corresponded to how fast you hit the button on the game panel. It took skill to maneuver your guy so that he could take out the other fliers and then get the eggs. If you remember this game then you are my people. If you don't know it you best stay on the curb out of the reach of my pool skimmer you lousy punks.

Harsh tone. Where's the acceptance of others who may not have had the luxury of playing the game?
Mind you, I have, so don't pool skim me.
See, you would not be messing up my lawn because you know to respect the property of others - and you would know old timey standy uppy arcade games - so you can be my friend. Unlike those punks who throw flaming bags of dog poop on my lawn.
But throwing flaming dog poop bags on your lawn can be fun too!

Joust was a cool game. I played it a lot on the old Commodore 64. This brings back memories.
I hated that game because I was never any good at it.
