That top one feels like a much tamer Tom of Finland

The top one was pre-production art from Jim Steranko. That was done before Harrison Ford was cast as Indiana Jones. Originally Tom Selleck was going to be Indiana Jones before he had to drop out because Magnum PI got picked up as a series. I've always wondered if Steranko had Selleck in mind when he painted that picture.

The fact that the top pic is Steranko just doubles it's cool factor. I always wondered if Delleck's Indiana would have had the moustache.
