I Never Trusted That 'Boo Berry'.

He's just so mellow and hip and aloof. What a poser with his cereal based beatnik rhymes. Snaps Daddio, snaps. He's gotta be the least frightening ghost ever. You know this 'cereal gig' is just another scam. Just another way to meet girls who are in graduate school and who are also mad at their fathers.

I do, however, like the Peter Lorre voice they gave him in this commercial which was also the first appearance of Boo Berry.

Boo Berry was the one cereal we never ever had. I used to bug my mom for the Franken Berry and Count Chocula, and my brothers and I would eat it untill we had a good sugar buzz going, but we never even saw Boo Berry boxes on the shelves of our local grocery store.

Yeh, and who is this 'Fruit Brute' and this 'Yummy Mummy'?

I always thought it was weird that, during my own childhood in the eighties, they never had commercials for Boo Berry. It was the forgotten monster cereal, I guess. I think now they only sell it around Halloween. I don't know. I never really ate dry cereal, but that doesn't mean I don't remember the commercials.

I have never had a bowl of Boo Berry. Though I have SUCH a craving for honey Shreddies right now. Tomorrow I am going apeshit on cereal especially the little boxes you got at the cafeteria. I used to snack on a box of Special K with yogurt covered berries. The next best thing to Frosted Flakes. How I evr allowed my stores to get so low is beyond me. If this was winter I would be wearing big spoon shaped snowshows while making an emercency run for supplies. I also need ecclairs and cottage cheese for my salad.
