Rod Serling Must Be Twisting Over In His Grave

Icons of The Twilight Zone Bobble Head

Twilight Zone Kanamit Bobble Head

This is my favorite episode of the 'Twilight Zone'. Many many unintentionally funny moments. Why would the alien walk into his first meeting with humans CARRYING the cook book and has no fear that we will be able to translate his words. Those are some huge intergalactic balls you got there buddy.

You would also think that for such an advanced alien race, they wouldn't have to use one of our medical scales to determine the weight of everyone coming on board their ships. I was looking for a more high tech alien weight measuring device that that

I also enjoy how everyone automatically assumes that 'To Serve Man' means that the aliens will be our servants. What delicious hubris. No wonder our downfall was so swift and predictable in this little morality tale.

I spent a lot of the 4th of July long weekend watching the Twilight Zone 72 hour marathon. They had a lot of the good ones going on. The one with Lee Marvin, Lee Van Cleef and Strother Martin was it for me.
