Everyone’s favorite dreadlocked, samurai sword-wielding, zombie pet-keeping bad-ass from the comics will be slicing and dicing through your TV sets in the upcoming third season of Walking Dead on AMC. This pic from Entertainment Weekly reveals Michonne will be played by Danai Gurira (Treme).

Awesome! She's possibly my favorite character. She looks great.
After reading the entire comic run I've decided that it's at least twice as good as the TV series.
The comic and the TV show have to go together if you really want to enjoy the emotional roller coaster that this story is. I waited until I had fifty or so of the comics before I started reading them. I do the same thing with the TV series. I just can't deal with the cliffhangers. They break my heart.
I've never seen this show, but I totally am intrigued by all the hype. I need to catch up!
You have the rainy summer days to catch up this one Jax. It's worth it...just don't get attached to ANYONE.
I do sorta the same thing as you Cal, I save up five or six issues of the comic before I read them! For the TV show I wait two or three!
