Guardians of the Galaxy back together in August! “Avengers Assemble #6”. The line-up is Star-Lord (no helmet), Gamora, Drax, Bug, and Rocket Raccoon. Would much rather have Groot, Jack Flag, & Mantis instead of Drax & Gamora, but I am just happy to see Peter Quill again. Buying this. Hope this means a GotG series is coming soon.

Scuttlebutt around the lodge is that a Guardians movie is in the works. The shot of Thanos at the end of Avengers was a hint at the next Avengers movie as well as a future Guardians of the Galaxy movie. There is supposed to be some sort of announcement at this years SDCC.
I heard about that too. I am hoping Rocket gets done well in all his 'son of bitch' glory. With his inclusion in the Uncanny Avengers with Starlord means the team is being fully integrated into Marvel's movie universe.
So I guess they are ignoring the Guardian stories from the past few years.
