The artist Chen Shu Fen (陈淑芬) is best known for her paintings of beautiful women and handsome men. She has worked on a project in which she painted 56 Chinese ethnic groups from China. Each staying true to there original ethnic clothing.

I have seen these before. They are indeed beautiful. At the same time I am struck by how terribly *white* they look.
I know. That is what I like about them. They seem so subversive. It's that Asian inferiority thing that always shows up in their art...even propaganda.
